Maps unfold, tales to tell, 

Mountains, rivers, where people dwell, 

Lines and colors, borders drawn, 

World’s vast wonders, dusk till dawn.

Geography’s dance, land and sea, 

Exploring places, wild and free.

Poet’s Notes: I wrote this poem on my favorite thing to research in my free time. History, but particularly history that relates to geography and shows how different nations and societies interacted depending on their locations.
